Best Chinese Food in St. Louis

In most restaurants, vegetables are just used as a side dish. For example, a house salad,peas, carrots, green beans, the dreaded mix of "seasonal" vegetables are simply just that, vegetables and for that reason, they are typically used as side dishes. Being able to provide so many different types of vegetables as sides, has made it possible for people to eat more than just proteins. Proteins which include chicken, beef, pork, lamb, etc. Additionally that means that for the carnivore, having vegetables as just sides is not a matter of concern, but what about individuals that do not eat meat or any sort of animal products.

That being said, if finding food that is not made out of meat or animal products difficult for the individuals that identify as vegetarians, it is exponentially more difficult for individuals that identify as vegans. Many individuals, might look at finding this kind of food as a challenge. Thankfully, the city of St. Louis has been able to provide more than a few restaurants that will offer vegans and vegetarians with the food that their dietary needs require.

  That being said, what would these individuals do if they wanted to have chinese food for lunch or dinner. When we think about chinese food, we don't typically associate it with non-animal products. That is because we tend to associate chinese food with teriyaki chicken, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice--which contains eggs, etc. According to locals, there are at least 10 amazing restaurants in St. Louis that provide delicious chinese food. Many describe it as the best chinese food in st louis.

  These restaurants, provide different food options from their menu's such as spring rolls, dumplings, different types of proteins, and sauces and turn them into vegan options. Since vegan's reject to use or consume any product that is made up of animal products, it is fair to say that there restaurants provide food that is not as expensive as regular food since it is not made up of the same components.

Additionally, vegan diets are made up of more fiber, and contain less saturated fats, in addition to less cholesterol and other unnecessary fats. It has been confirmed that meat contains B vitamins which are necessary for humans; however, vegans can obtain the same supplements by consuming B vitamins that can be found over the counter at any local pharmacy or even a grocery store.

  In conclusion, even though vegan restaurants are rare to find, some of the best restaurants in st louis are actually specially catered to individuals who identify as vegans. Even though they provide a vegan menu, they still have their regular chinese food. In other words, since they have two different menus, they can provide food to double the amount of customers than other restaurants. Furthermore, it should be noted that even though identifying as a vegan is not as common as identifying as a vegetarian, these individuals should not be ostracized from eating at these establishments due to their dietary needs.
